Community Update: Cemetery Expansion to Begin December 2nd

What’s Happening? The Malahat Nation is working with TELUS and F3 Networks to bring fiber optic internet to all homes and businesses in the community by July 2025. This fiber connection will allow for faster, more reliable internet, TV, and home security services. Monitoring Underwater Sound in Malahat Marine Territory
Malahat Nation has been working with BC Whales and Sea to Shore Systems to install hydrophone systems in Malahat marine territory. The 'Malahat Beach South' hydrophone is collecting underwater noise data from inside Saanich Inlet it is now available on whalesound.ca!
