Monitoring Underwater Sound in Malahat Marine Territory
Malahat Nation has been working with BC Whales and Sea to Shore Systems to install hydrophone systems in Malahat marine territory. The 'Malahat Beach South' hydrophone is collecting underwater noise data from inside Saanich Inlet it is now available on whalesound.ca! We're excited to announce that Malahat Directors and Staff will be hosting monthly Open House Gatherings! These gatherings will be hosted on the first Wednesday of each month, from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at the Community Gym.
