Malahat Nation & Telus Fibre Community Event
We are excited to share that Telus Fibre is now being rolled out across the community. After many months of planning and infrastructure upgrades, Malahat's organization and community homes can now sign up for high-speed internet services. This transition marks a big step forward in improving connectivity, not just for individual households but for the nation as a whole. Malahat Nation Opposes Bill 15
On May 13th, 2025, Premier David Eby introduced Bill 15 - the Infrastructure Projects Act. This Bill would grant the Cabinet extraordinary powers to expedite major infrastructure projects in BC. The Minister of Infrastructure, Bowinn Ma, says the Bill is to speed up building critical infrastructure such as schools and hospitals.
